California native, Michael Spencer, began his book making career in 2013 when he self-published his first eBook, entitled 'Where's Lighty?,' to amazon. It was his first book to feature his own brand of characters, called Lighties.
Since his first eBook, Michael has self-published print versions of 'Where's Lighty?' in 2015, 'ABC's with Lighties' in 2016, 'Coloring with the Lighties' in 2017, and 'Where's Lighty Now?' in July of 2021, and through his company Mindsight Publishing. Michael is currently working on future projects in literacy and other media arts.
