Born in Centre, Alabama, Mike Morris has spent most of his life in the Washington, D.C. area. A jazz drummer and former English teacher, he appreciates his former students for encouraging him to write. Mike is approaching 50 years of marriage and is fortunate to spend time with his wife, his daughters, their spouses and his grandchildren. A member of the Soka Gakkai International for over 50 years, Mike makes efforts to promote peace through culture, education and dialogue.
