Mike started his career as a designer in the early 2000's when web design was still in its infancy. He quickly recognised that the real key to getting users to adopt a new digital product was to understand it from a human perspective, not a technical one. Since then he has worked across multiple industries, and for both digital agencies and client-side roles in UX, product design and strategy. He now specialises in customer research, analysing user behaviour and data-driven insights to carefully balance the needs of customers with the strategic goals of the organisations he works for. With his insistence on a collaborative design process and a welcoming approach to mentoring other designers, his goal is to help other designers master the art of storytelling and communicating effectively to their clients and stakeholders.
