Milton Milligan is an 87-year-old author and has been married to wife Beryl for nearly 62 years. They have seven adult professional children. Orphaned at just five years of age, he was raised by an uncle Guardian in tough and difficult times. After receiving a basic public school education, and despite being made destitute at age 20 by two huge floods in his home town of Kempsey, New South Wales, was able to live an extraordinary life for which he had no training or experience. His life was much a reflection of that of his Great Great Grandfather Joseph Dickson which is related in Milton's absorbing true story "Bondi Pioneer".
