I believe what we learn during the angst of our life defines us as human." Award-winning author, Miranda J. Chivers/MJ Krause-Chivers writes about faith, mental health and diversity. Her fiction work contains characters who use their wits and faith to overcome challenging circumstances. The author is a Canadian descendant of Mennonite refugees from Russian-occupied Ukraine (19234/24) and is a PTSD survivor. She has a professional background in social work and tourism; and is a parent and sibling of special needs adults. When she isn't writing, the author is hiking, globe-trotting, or participating in local cultural events in the beautiful Niagara region with her family.
