Morland Matthews (1976-present) was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York's Williamsburg. He still lives in the city. His parents were Nicaraguan immigrant's who fled their country's Contra war in the 1970's. Throughout the last few decades he earned a Bachelor's degree from NYU, a Masters from Queens College in School Counseling and a Second Master's from Long Island University in Special Education. He has also taught and worked as a Counselor in NYC for over a decade.
