Nick is an expert in wireless and Internet communications spanning more than 20 years. He advises the FAA, NAVY, Pentagon, Veterans Administration & DISA on wireless technology (ANVICOM). He is advisor to the George Mason University Enterprise Center on mobile issues and is also the Technology Incubation advisor to the city of Leesburg, Virginia. Nick was an early developer of wireless products from Research in Motion (RIM) including BlackBerry. He was creator of the world's first Wireless TTY Service (reachNET), which won Technology Product of the Year. He was creator of SmartData service (Columbia Technologies) which won Innovative Technology of the Year. He was also a wireless data pioneer with ARDIS & MOBITEX systems. Nick was a member of the Mayor of Baltimore’s technology advisory board in 1999. He was a founding member of Baltimore Venture Mentors (business mentoring group) and is a current member of Venture Mentors of Virginia. He is also a commercial pilot and flight instructor.
