Noel Braun (born 1932) commenced his working career as a country school teacher then moved into the corporate world as a management consultant. He has had a lifelong passion for writing and wrote the first words of his novels in his forties. After a busy career and raising a family, he has found the time in retirement to fulfil his long-held ambition to see his work in print. Noel has published two novels Friend and Philosopher and Whistler Street. He has written three memoires. No Way to Behave at a Funeral describes his journey following the death by suicide of his wife Maris. The Day was Made for Walking relates his physical and spiritual journey in walking the Camino de Santiago, the ancient pilgrimage through France and Spain. I Guess I'll Just Keep on Walking continues his journey along the Camino through France, Spain and Portugal. Noel lives in the Snowy Mountains in the south-east of Australia. He is concerned with community development, social justice and environmental issues. He is am active octogenarian, a keen bush walker and enjoys getting out in the adjacent Mount Kosciuszko National Park.
