Norma Joyce's beautifully written autobiography vividly describes her life, the people she met, and her surroundings in such an expert way they are very easy to imagine, and her writing style allows readers to follow along effortlessly! By telling her life story in such a wonderfully powerful way, she illustrates to young women three important life lessons: first when bad things happen don’t let them define you and defeat you but overcome and press on; second when people and the world say you aren’t good enough don’t believe them, you are; and finally Jesus loves you for who you are and in Him you can find peace, acceptance, and live a better life!
