P J Canning is a British writer of sci-fi adventure books primarily aimed at 9 to14 year-olds. His first book, 21% Monster has been shortlisted for a number of awards, including the Dudley Children's book Award in 2023 and the Salford Children's Book Award 2024. The book has been selected for the BookTrust Bookbuzz programme in 2024.
