Pamela Fariole is a teacher and mother, and the author of How to Survive the Empty Nest Phase. Her work is aimed at parents coming to the end of their journey as caretakers for their children, helping them to adjust to life with an empty nest. Pamela has three grown children who all live away from home and are focused on their careers. As a single parent, she found the empty nest phase extremely challenging and struggled with feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, and depression. She had been married for 33 years, and suddenly finding herself in an empty house, she realized she needed to find her purpose in order to rediscover her sense of self and set out on a path toward a happy future. Pamela is a certified teacher, but no longer works in public school, instead tutoring children online. This, alongside her writing, gives her the purpose and financial security she had been seeking. She is determined to help other people in her position find joy as they adjust to a more independent life after their children leave home. Pamela has four grandchildren, and loves spending time with them. When she’s not with her family, she enjoys spending the weekends with her friends and visiting new places. She is also the author of EAT DRINK SEE, NH. She shares her favorite destinations in NH where the locals go. She loves live music, her flower gardens, and good food. She finds joy in the world all around her and is always looking forward to her next adventure.
