As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer I've received training in nutrition, muscular and cardiovascular assessments, and effective exercise and weight loss programing. Over the years I've had to learn how to control my own weight. I competed and won a Greatest Loser Contest, joined Weight Watchers and even participated in MD supervised weight loss. When I work with clients I bring this weight loss experience of losing over 40 pounds personally and its life lessons to our training sessions. As a trainer of clients mainly over age 65 I can offer practical advice and encouragement to those that need to lose weight and get back into shape at any age. My workbook, Proactive Fitness For Seniors offers my top 10 tips for losing weight and keeping it off. The workbook has all the forms and checklists that I actually use with my clients to keep them motivated and on track. These weight loss and fitness ideas are effective and field tested by me.
