Philip G Cohen always wanted to write. He had a play accepted by the RSC by the age of 18. He was a Senior Scholar of Peterhouse Cambridge and obtained a first class degree in English in the days when, University wide, there would be less than ten such degrees in English awarded. He was then persuaded that he needed to get himself a proper qualification, so that he had something to "fall back on" in case he didn't make it as a writer. So he qualified as a solicitor. He proceeded to act as Senior Partner and Chairman of law firms, specialising in commercial litigation. The cases that he devised and took through the Courts for his many satisfied clients, and the principles he established are now on the syllabus and in the law books, as well as the Rules of the Court (CPR) and other solicitors follow where he trail-blazed. At present, he is Senior Partner Litigation in worldwide law firm, Ince. After having been at the very top of his legal game for exactly 50 years, whilst continuing with his very full time duties as Senior Partner Litigation at Ince, he has resumed writing. ∞ was his first book, published 21 June 2022. Originally the title was simply the symbol, ∞. However, his publishers persuaded him that, as so many purchases would be online, and as there is no key for ∞ on the keyboard, he should give it a more mainstream title, so he reluctantly submitted to Infinity spelled wrongly, Infiniti. He has just finished the second book, The Gate of the Burnt One. He lives in Dulwich Village in England and in Cadaqués in Catalonia.
