PHILIPPE J.WEIL has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career as a Trainee to become a Private Banker at Julius Baer, Zurich. After four years he moved on to the Zurich branch of E. Gutzwiller & Cie, Banquiers, a Basel Private Bank, as a Client Relationship Manager. Philippe then gained his trading experience while working for JPMorgan from 1991 to 1995 as Market Maker in Fixed Income and Fixed Income Derivatives in Zurich and New York. Following this, Philippe joined Republic National Bank of NY in Zurich where he serviced his personal clients. In 1997, after immigrating to Israel, Philippe joined Union Bank of Israel where he was in charge of setting up the International Private Banking division in their Tel Aviv Main Branch. In 2001 Philippe founded P.J.Weil Ltd., Individual Management and Consulting and in 2003 he founded P.J.Weil Trust (2003) Ltd. Today Philippe is actively running this Multi-Family Office Boutique with Offices in Tel Aviv and Zurich and is Wealth Manager, Director, Trustee, Board Member, Consultant and "Personne de Confiance" for a few selected Global Families of Wealth. Philippe is a member of international think tanks, industry organizations and associations (STEP – Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Campden Wealth and others) and is a guest lecturer at universities and conferences in Israel and worldwide. Philippe published articles and essays in the Family Business Journal, Family Office Journal, STEP Journal and in Israel leading Newspapers. He has appeared on the Israeli TV and in many Radio programs. His book, first published in 2017 in Hebrew, is widely read and spoken of in the financial community and press. In autumn of 2019 the revised English version is being published and launched at a distinguished conference in Mubai, India. Philippe is the Founder of the Etz Rimon Charitable Foundation and a member of the Board of ‘Committed to Give’, Feuerstein Institute, CoPro, the Israeli Friend of the Israel Museum and also involved in many other charities. Philippe and his wife Orly are living in Tel Aviv together with their 3 children.
