Ismael Tabalno, affectionately known as Pineapple Sam, grew up amidst the lush, vibrant landscapes of Kauai, Hawaii. Amidst the backdrop of the tumultuous 1960s—a time marked by the San Francisco hippie movement, protests against the Vietnam War, and a burgeoning counterculture—Sam feels the pull of adventure.
