Rachel Shapiro, author of “The Spaces Between Keys,” is a former quarter-finalist in Amazon’s breakthrough novel competition. She loves flash fiction and her published short stories include “Pieces of Light” in Gemini Magazine and “The Convenience Store” in Story Shack. After earning a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Edinburgh, she taught composition at St. Petersburg College. She lives in Florida and edits an animal rights magazine.
