I’ve been investing my time, energy, and focus on creating a separate platform (website, podcast, business conferencing tools, etc.) to inform, entertain, and assist my closest friends, family, associates, and especially my Muslim brothers and sisters.
I am a Muslim, Black, and American, so I guess I have three strikes against me, LOL. I am a Muslim Black American activist who criticizes the celebration of Black History Month while innocent people of color are constantly being killed.
I invite everyone to join this movement and support efforts to address social injustice, Islamophobia, and systematic oppression. I believe people of color would be better off governing themselves and are systematically oppressed.
The presence of racism, genocide, discrimination, and bias in the world really bothers me. It also bothers me that when these issues are pointed out, society, now led by social media, tends to block them. Not so much as it bothers me, but hypothetically, pretentiously, not realistically speaking, is it safe to say that if a person or entity did this, they too would be judged? Say a person's sole intentions were to speak out and expose the demoralizing, destructive actions of a person or system. Yet, those running the platform only choose what is convenient for their pockets, keeping the masses from having to observe and judge this material for themselves. Would that bother you? Then why ask the question?
Personal Experience:
Growing up in a community where racial profiling was commonplace, I witnessed firsthand the systemic racism within law enforcement that results in disproportionate targeting and violence against people of color. These experiences have fueled my determination to advocate for change and equality.
Concrete examples:

As the new arbiters of information dissemination, social media platforms play a pivotal role in shaping societal perceptions and responses to pressing issues like racism, discrimination, and bias. They hold the power to amplify or suppress voices that seek to expose injustices, thereby influencing the collective consciousness and actions of the masses.
It is imperative for individuals and society to actively engage in conversations and initiatives that promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. Encouraging open dialogue, supporting marginalized voices, implementing anti-discrimination policies, and holding accountable those perpetuating biased practices are crucial steps toward addressing these systemic issues. Additionally, advocating for transparency and ethical practices within information-sharing platforms can help ensure fair and unbiased dissemination of information.

An activist is a person who campaigns for some kind of social change. When you participate in a march protesting the closing of a neighborhood library, you’re an activist. Someone who’s actively involved in a protest or a political or social cause can be called an activist.
A revolutionist is someone who wants to change the world — not just sitting around talking about it, but actually doing something to bring about change.
