About the Author RAYME SCIARONI Author, Composer, Lyricist, Theatrical Director, Designer, Artist The creative passion and talents of Rayme Sciaroni manifest through a remarkable diversity of unlimited expression including literature, art, crafting, music, and theatre. A child prodigy pianist, Rayme earned a degree in composition from the Neupaur Conservatory in Philadelphia, followed by acceptance into the BMI Music Theatre Workshop in New York City as a composer and lyricist. He was subsequently accepted into the ASCAP Music Theatre Workshop followed by the prestigious New Dramatists, where his talents were enthusiastically recognized as composer and co-director of the well-received musical comedy workshop “The Gym”. Musical composition highlights have included: two songs for a smash Off-Broadway production that is the second longest running Off-Broadway show in history, performed world-wide and later produced as a DVD; music, lyrics, and co-direction of the world premiere musical “Corporate Circus”; music, lyrics, co-creation, co-direction and performance of “The Daddy Machine”, a family musical which captivated audiences in San Diego, California and was immediately selected as primary entertainment aboard an ‘R’ Family Cruise excursion; music, lyrics, co-creation, co-direction and performance of the humorous Christmas musical “Mistletoe, Music, and Mayhem”. Working with top theatrical talent in the industry, Rayme has accompanied great artists such as John Denver and Kenny Loggins, headlined in several cabaret shows from California to New York. His specialized original holiday songs have been performed by members of the Lawrence Welk Show at the Lawrence Welk Theatre in Escondido, California, and by the San Diego Men’s Chorus. As writer, director, and performer for numerous productions and various fundraising events, Rayme is known for his wit, creativity, and engaging good nature. Never losing sight of his passion for instructing young people, Rayme taught performing arts and art classes in the New York City and San Diego City public school systems. He continues to mentor young performers, singers, and artists. He also coached several seasoned adult Broadway performers, singers, and dancers preparing for auditions. Rayme has directed, musical directed, and choreographed numerous Broadway classics, garnering several National Youth Theatre awards for Best Production. Of equal passion for Rayme is arts and crafts. Rayme co-authored the popular craft book, “Designing with the Divas and Friends” which sold out in craft and hobby stores throughout the United States. Identified as a “Celebrity Who Crafts”, Rayme was featured in a 2012 article within “Creative Retailer” magazine, Northridge Publishing. As co-host of the favorite internet radio program “The Diva Craft Lounge”, enthusiastic listeners from over 117 countries tuned in for over ten years to gain experience and recommendations regarding the arts and crafts industry. Discerning observers might even recognize Rayme’s musical acumen within the program’s originally created theme song “Have a Diva Day”, composed by Sciaroni. A new internet show has since evolved, “Creativity and Company” which provides a broader spectrum of creative outlets to motivate viewers. Now residing in San Diego, Rayme enthusiastically continues to enthrall audiences from coast to coast through his literary and musical compositions, theatre, arts, and crafts.
