Rebecca Lawrence and Bruce Fallon are passionate advocates for fearless parenting, and are dedicated champions of guilt-free love in the challenging world of raising children. With backgrounds in parenting and leadership training, qualified family coaching for children with emotional needs, and multiple Masters Degrees, they bring a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the world of parenting. As parent themselves, they understand the daily trials and tribulations that come with the territory. They have weathered the storm of sleepless nights, temper tantrums, and teenage angst, and emerged stronger and more resolute in their mission to empower every parent. “People and families are our passion and our experience reflects that. Between both of us, we are extremely fortunate to have worked for years for an NGO focused on parenting and leadership training, and were qualified as family and leadership coaches working with children and families in emotional and financial need. Although not married to each other, we have over 45 years of marriage between us (and counting!) and are blessed with quite a few children, of whom there are a couple with ADHD and anxiety disorders, and one child on the spectrum. With lots of patience and support, these children are excelling in school (post graduate degree), in careers, and in life. We wholeheartedly believe that "different is wonderful," but we as parents need to help our children find their superpowers, as every child has one! "You Are Not The Worst Dad" is not just a book, it's a heartfelt invitation to embrace your unique parenting journey and to love your children and yourself without reservation." In "You Are Not The Worst Mom" and “You Are Not The Worst Dad”, Rebecca and Bruce invite readers into a world where vulnerability is celebrated, and self-doubt is banished. Through candid storytelling, research-backed insights, and a healthy dose of humor, they offer a roadmap for parents to navigate the highs and lows of parenthood of all types of children with grace and authenticity. Their writing is a testament to the belief that being a loving and supportive parent doesn't require perfection but rather a willingness to embrace imperfections and learn from them. Their words provide solace to parents who have ever felt inadequate, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles.
