Robin was born in Arizona. She spent her childhood exploring the wild foothills of the Sonoran Desert on horseback, often getting into scrapes on her sturdy mare, Blue. Always an avid reader, she tried her hand at writing early and has never stopped. Her work often explores human / animal relationships, and the rediscovery of lost magic. She now lives in Iowa City with her husband, their Australian Shepherd, and their horses.
