Ron Richardson – B.C.E.T.S., F.A.A.E.T.S. Ron is a minister with the Assemblies of God. He was Licensed in 1969 and was Ordained in 1973. He pastored churches in California and Oregon and was Presbyter with the oversight of 20 churches while pastoring in Oregon. He has extensive training and years of experience in Crisis Intervention and a member of International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) since 2000. He is a Board-Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress (B.C.E.T.S.) and Fellow, American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress (F.A.A.E.T.S.) and is trained and experienced in the use of Thought Field Therapy. Two of Ron’s articles written on Crisis Intervention have been published in the ICISF LifeNet newsletter. He was an Approved Instructor for ICISF for 10 years and taught 10 crisis intervention courses, which offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. While teaching for ICISF he earned three Certificates of Specialized training in the following disciplines: 1) Mass Disasters and Terrorism, 2) Schools and Children Crisis Response, and 3) Spiritual Care in Crisis Response. He was also a contributor to the ICISF course “Impact and Implications of Terrorism.” In 1998 Ron created a law enforcement chaplaincy program for public schools for school districts throughout Central California. In 2004 he created the Associate Special Assistance Program (A.S.A.P) for a retail and distribution company with 1,400 locations and 30,000 employees with locations in all 50 states of the US as well as in Puerto Rico and West Indies. The ASAP networked with Law Enforcement Chaplains to provide immediate assistance for employee needs as well as for their family member’s needs. Services included assistance following accidents, practical helps, a variety of counseling issues including suicide intervention, and spiritual help as requested. Follow up services were also offered for employees following their termination. The service was also occasionally provided for employees of the company’s subsidiary companies. Ron also assisted the Security Department in developing threat management and crisis intervention response protocols for the company. Ron served as a Law Enforcement Chaplain for Kerman, CA Police Department for five years and for Fresno County Sheriff’s Office for fifteen years. He was president of Chaplain Services International and trained hundreds of volunteers throughout Central California for law enforcement and emergency services agencies. He also served on a committee of chaplains selected from Law Enforcement agencies to develop POST (Peace Officers Standards and Training) certified training curricula for the State of California. He completed Basic and Intermediate Levels I and II courses to become a POST instructor for Law Enforcement Chaplaincy. His major contributions to the project were developing content for the Crisis Intervention course. He also contributed instruction materials for the suicide assessment and prevention course and worked with the committee to review and approve all instructional materials for the 40-hour training. The course was certified by POST in November, 2011. As Administrator of Fearless Faith Facebook page, Ron’s goal is to motivate members to be bold in approaching people with the gospel and to allow the Holy Spirit to confirm the word with signs following, according to Mark 16.17-18.
