Russell Lee Doré is a Board Member of the Motor Cities National Heritage Area, a former Board Member of the Henry Ford Heritage Association, and a member of the Northville Historical Society. His company, Doré Productions, has developed automotive history presentations which have been given to dozens of groups throughout the country. He holds bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in the social sciences, and has held management and employee development positions in the transportation industry and in consulting firms.
He is the author of Motor City Drama: Behind the Scenes Building the Big Three with Ford, Durant, and Chrysler, and They Put America in the Air: Behind the Scenes Building the Commercial Aircraft Industry with the Wright Brothers, Bill Boeing, and Donald Douglas.
