As a lifelong musician, Russell has published his memoirs, "Tales and Life Lessons From an Anonymous Musician" from his decades of experiences and life lessons gained from working in many facets of the music business. From working as a performer, teacher, retail sales in music and record stores, to recording artist, music producer, and many other areas of the business.
As a professional guitar teacher since 1985, he has published his own "Guitar Lessons by Russell Nollen" method book, available here.
As a session musician and recording artist, Russell published his first solo album in the autumn of 2011, titled "I". The print music is now available in a concise book, "Russell Nollen I The Complete Scores."
In August 2024, he wrote and published his book, "How To Teach Successfully - A Guidebook for Teaching Private Students" the result of his forty years of professional teaching experiences.
