Ruth A. Tucker (PhD, Northern Illinois University) has taught in the fields of church history, women's studies and alternative religions at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Formerly, a professor of mission and church history at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she is the author of more than twenty books, including Black and White Bible, Black and Blue wife; Parade of Faith: A Biographical History of the Christian Church; The Biographical Bible; and From Jerusalem to Irian Jaya: Second Edition.
