Ryan J Melton's journey was marked by a deep-seated fear of talking to people. For many years, this fear prevented him from forming meaningful connections and achieving his aspirations. It was in 2014, when he was living in a tent and only had 20 dollars to his name, that Ryan developed a plan to overcome his fears and convince his mother to provide him with the financial assistance he required. However, despite his well-thought-out plan, his mother responded with: “Ryan, this is hard for me to say but the answer’s no..” Undeterred, Ryan decided to execute his plan anyway. He applied for a commission-only sales job with one of the world leaders in face-to-face marketing, and over the next 13 years, he spoke with over 100,000 prospects, and trained leaders to lead, refining his communication skills and developing a deep understanding of human behavior. Through this experience, Ryan realised that the same frameworks and strategies he had learned in sales could be applied to marketing. He discovered that by connecting with people on a deep and meaningful level, he could create a lasting impact and drive real change. With this newfound understanding, and a marketing budget of $80 a month, Ryan grew one of the top 5% of podcasts in the world. His understanding of human psychology and persuasion enabled him to inspire and motivate others to take action and achieve their dreams. Ryan's journey offers a powerful example of the transformative power of hope. By sharing his story, he encourages others to believe in themselves and their ability to overcome their own fears, no matter how insurmountable they may seem.
