Sally Hinkley graduated from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire and studied art. During her time there, she never saw any carnival elephants visit the town but she wishes she had. She now spends her days working at an agricultural school with many students, horses, cows, sheep and far too many geese. Sally lives in Massachusetts with her family. This is her first novel.
