Scott Spackey is also known as Krishnanand. He is a six-time award winning author of five books and eight workbooks. He writes with a passionate voice, "I want readers to not just be entertained, but to have an experience that provokes thought and emotions. As well as a good time!" He is hailed as the Master of Memoirs, because his first book, A Stone’s Throw, is a memoir of his being involved with a notorious, organized; Los Angeles counterfeit and methamphetamine ring in the 90’s. His latest book, Within the Portal, is also a memoir, telling of his Near-Death Experience at 47, that went on intensely for nine days while he was in a coma and the miraculous events of the ensuing seven years. The book he is currently working on is a collection of memoirs of his past lives, which he vividly remembers with past-life regression methods. After a decade as a commercial building contractor, Scott’s restlessness drove him to become a private practice counselor. His innovations in addiction recovery are unprecedented and provide help to the millions who the multibillion-dollar recovery empire fails to help. His past as a criminal dope-fiend with a polymath intelligence gave him insights to behavioral treatments which academically driven PhDs do not have access to He lived the life and also exceeds collegiate education. His private practice always offered spiritual training and guidance for those seeking more beyond the conventional approaches. After his near-death events, he dedicated most of his helping services and writing to spiritual training and guidance services. As a spiritualist since his childhood, he is highly qualified to understand and teach the true origins, methods and practices to attain higher consciousness. Involved with esoteric knowledge, practices and cultures experientially. “I’m not satisfied with knowing something: I need to sample, experiment and apply the knowledge first hand before teaching it to others.” He spent several years in an esoteric organization of ceremonial magicians (3rd degree), trained under Dennis Hauck to attain Master of Alchemy, joined the alchemy guild Sir Isaac Newton had been a member of and is expert in Western religions, Hermeticism, Masonry and others. As an Eastern spiritualist he is a practitioner of several paths of yoga: bhakti, kundalini, tantra, ashtanga and others. He had a full-blown kundalini event at 25, documented in his first memoir. He travels the world for adventure, having been to 12 different countries, including 6 spiritual pilgrimages to India, Nepal and Japan. He rarely travels the landmark tourist sites, preferring the road far less traveled. He travels to expand the boundaries of his own consciousness and character. His author awards are for his masterful skill at creative narrative: “Nothing I write is even exaggerated. I write nonfiction because truth is stranger than and my life has been a string of pearls and a crown of thorns. A collection of bizarre, extraordinary events that are undeniable miracles.” “I just write what I know. Nothing more and nothing less.”
