Scott was born and grew up in the state of Washington. He attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, where he wrestled competitively. Glabb has taught in the public school system for 37 years, with 29 of those years at Santa Ana High School which resides in an orange county city that was once ranked number one in the nation for economic hardship. The schools wrestling program was struggling dismally to gain the respect of the southern California community. With Glabb's transformational coaching philosophy, he took the team to new heights. Under his tutelage, he now enjoys having 27 straight league championships, 13 southern section titles, and his proud to have coached state and national champions as well as UFC fighter and ESPN analyst Gilbert "El Nino" Melendez. He is a 2x state wrestling coach of the year and has been inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, as well as the California Coaches Association and California Wrestling Hall of Fame. In 2017, . Glabb was voted Teacher of the year for Santa Ana High School and was also honored as Educator of the Year for the Santa Ana Unified School District. He was a Semi-finalist for the Orange County Teacher of the Year Award too. Glabb has been an adjunct professor for the Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration (MCAA) program through Concordia University in Irvine since 2011. He was recently honored with the Alumni Award of Excellence by the MCAA program. He resides In Costa Mesa, CA with his Wife, a biology/health teacher, and 2 Sons.
