Norfolk, VA native, Shelton Johnson, says that his latest novel, New One with My Family: A New Year’s Comedy, is not only the final installment to the Family Comedy Trilogy, but also serves as his funniest and most enjoyable work yet. When asked he said, “I truly enjoyed writing this novel. I don’t think there was a day that passed when I didn’t laugh out loud at what I was putting on paper. For me, this novel just flowed. It’s a simple plot with familiar characters and lots of humor.” With his adult humored Family Comedy Trilogy now complete, Mr. Johnson plans to shift his focus to filmmaking.
