AUTHOR Shirley Moulton has been close, personal friends with Magic Moon for her entire life. He asked her to write some of his stories, so, naturally, she did. Shirley Moulton has spent her entire professional career of over 35 years working with children who have disabilities (including but not limited to: autism, ADHD, behavior disorders, learning disabilities and other health impairments). She’s also worked with non-disabled and gifted children. Shirley Moulton has a Master of Science degree in Special Education, and two Bachelor’s degrees; one in Psychology and one in Special Education. She believes every child, whether classified with a disability or not, has many talents and gifts. She’s grateful she can continue to make a positive difference in children’s lives, now that she’s retired, by writing the Magic Moon Children’s Books series. She loves being a mother and a grandmother most of all! Shirley Moulton's first book, "Magic Moon: A Young Boy's Journey" is actually a story she told to her grandchildren one night. She was using a large flashlight, shining it on the ceiling. Two rings glowed around the central light, so she made this "Magic Moon." She developed the story with "Magic Moon" having the power to grant two requests. She has now written and published five Magic Moon books: Magic Moon: A Young Boy's Journey (Vol. 1), Magic Moon: Sister's Turn (Vol. 2), Magic Moon: Two Worlds (Vol. 3), Magic Moon: A New Beginning (Vol. 4) and Magic Moon: Bears Ears (Vol. 5). Magic Moon: A Young Boy's Journey (Vol. 1), and Magic Moon: Sister's Turn (Vol. 2) are now audiobooks on sale as well! ILLUSTRATOR Marilyn Whitchurch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education. She loves all things magical and has been creating drawings from her imagination and observations ever since she can remember. Her dream is to one day see a unicorn in the real world and convince it to pose for a drawing (after she rides it, of course). Another dream she had was to illustrate a children’s book, which is now fulfilled. She has now illustrated two children's books (picture books with full page illustrations) and illustrated covers for four Magic Moon Children's Books. She resides in Utah and is married to her college sweetheart. They have three adult children who have their own kind of magic. COVER DESIGNER Cody Moulton (for Magic Moon Vol. 4 and design elements on Vol. 3 and Vol. 5) has been creative in art and music his entire life! He has a B.S. in Web Development & Design and has also designed the website for Magic Moon Children's Books (Magic Moon Books, LLC). http://design.moultonhot.com/portfolio/ SOUND ENGINEER Derek Moulton has been involved with audio recording, mixing, mastering and engineering for 10 years. He has his own recording studio where his passion is writing music. He has fully produced multiple music albums and worked with several musicians. He takes great pride in his work and is always working towards improving his craft. (Derek is not accepting new clients at this time.) NARRATOR Shilo Dennis loves to sing and act. From ages 7 - 14 she performed in many solo vocal concerts, plays, commercials, television shows and a movie. Most significantly she played the lead role of “Mary” in “The Secret Garden." She also played the speaking and singing role of “Helen” in the “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” episode of Touched By An Angel, and she co-starred in the movie “Mr. Atlas.” She continues this hobby by goofing off with and reading aloud to her family.
