I grew up in Statesville, NC, and I studied Radio/TV and advertising at UNC-CH, graduating in 1975. In 1980, I left radio to start a marketing communications agency now known as CarneyCo. I also created ReVision™, a process for creative problem-solving and strategic innovation.
My first book was published in 2018. I read Thom Rainer's book "Autopsy of a Deceased Church" and learned the characteristics and actions that dying churches had in common. "The Greatest Church in the World" was written to demonstrate' great' churches' positive attributes and actions.
"The Greatest Disciple in the World" was published in 2024 to help all believers and non-believers find and grow their spiritual connection.
I'm on a mission to give away books to help as many churches and people as possible. I sell books so I can give books away. I also use ReVision™to help churches overcome challenges and get back on track.
