Stacey Darlington lives in Florida. She does exciting lectures in elementary and middle schools to promote literacy. She uses her middle grade book, Athena's Curse, written under her pen name, S. Darlington-Davis, to get kids excited about Greek mythology and reading. She studies Native American spirituality and leads guided meditations to reveal personal totems. She designed and created her own whimsical animal spirit deck and wrote a companion book titled, Animal Nature. Long Snows Moon, finalist in the 2013 Rainbow Books awards, showcases her love of this subject. Stacey prides herself on her sense of humor and wit. Can funny be sexy? You bet it can! Her love for comedy shines in her short story, The Widow of Sandcastle Cove, a hilarious romance set in a Florida retirement community. Her interest in magic and psychology lends itself to her best seller, Winter on Spring Street. Her short story, Original Sin, was selected and published in the seventh edition of IMAGEOUT Write. Stacey also writes and illustrates children's books. Her, A Cat Named Tweet, series written in rhyme with wonderful morals and interesting cat facts. A HUGE portion of Stacey's book sales (and the rest of her money!) goes toward managing a large cat colony. Stacey is also a massage therapist who donates her time to the elderly. She is an upholstery artist and furniture designer who loves the hands on daily gratification of her craft. Stacey is happily married to her co-conspirator and partner in adventure, Candy Darlington-Davis. Their house is ruled by their cat, Mayfield, Stacey's body of work is diverse, writing for little ones, teens, your inner child and especially for those with an open, or expanding mind.
