I suppose I'm not like your traditional writer, I'll admit that I've only ever read a handful of books all the way through. My influences are from movies and video games. I believe that the skills to be a writer are teachable, and that if you have a story to tell, then you are already qualified to tell that story.
I am mostly interested in science-fiction as I love to think about the possibilities of the future of human technology, as well as the adventures in space we are yet to embark on. Someday I may branch out into some fantasy stories, but for now, I'm too obsessed with robots and space!
I like the idea of humans transferring their consciousness into machines, I feel think could be a possibility one day and feel the sooner humans embrace it the better, providing the tech is reliable.
I got into writing when taking a video games design course in college and got into story development. I wrote a story so in-depth, that my tutor told me it was too big for video games, and that people only buy games to entertain their thumbs... but I disagreed strongly. However, he then went on and told me to try and write it as a novel, as he thought it would make a great story... so here I am. Trying to write books!
I am also a musician. I started in a rock band playing heavy metal, then attended another college to learn about music. There I met a large group of people with many different tastes in music, and my library grew exponentially. I now produce a mixture of electronic techno and hip-hop in my spare time.
I hope you enjoy my stories and I am always happy to meet or chat to a fan of my work.
