American author Stephen Phillips is a 1992 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He served in the United States Navy as a Special Operations Officer and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician [Read: Ammunition Technical Officer] as EOD Mobile Units Six, Eight, and Ten.
