I am a citizen of the world. My books are about the cultural experiences I have enjoyed in learning about the people while living in other countries. I've had many great successes in my life and I am richly rewarded emotionally in my career as a Master Life Coach for 30 years. When I was 30 I had a near death awakening from car accident that changed everything about my perspective of life. It took me a year to get my body back together and I sold my home and packed one 40lb.suitcase and traveled Europe and the middle east for 3years. The "laws of attraction" were my map and God was my guide as I journeyed alone. The book "Mirror,Mirror" is this wild and wonderful journey that took me from a very conservative mid-west girl to an expanded and confident Woman of the World.
I have a background in education and a Masters in World Religions and a Masters in Integrative Psychology. I have been teaching Women's empowerment programs and classes for over 30 years. I am a constant learner and adventurer but I won't do zip lining again...that was Costa Rica last year.
My new book "Diary of a Turkish Wedding" is the personal experience of living in a very provincial village in Turkey and marrying a Turkish man who became very Muslim....years after we married and turned my life upside down. It's an amazing journey into another culture that is the opposite of the American way of life. Take the adventure the safe way...read about it...don't marry it.
