A history lover, Susan F. Craft researches for her novels with the same excitement as Alan Quartermain hunting for King Solomon's Mines and with the persistence of Lewis and Clark. She enjoys the chase when a clue leads her from one "treasure" to the next, to the next. Susan retired from a 45-year career in writing, editing, and communicating in business settings. She authored a historical romantic suspense trilogy - Women of the American Revolution (The Chamomile, Laurel, and Cassia) which received national recognition, two of the books receiving national Silver Illumination Awards, and the other an Okra Pick, and a Christy Award nomination. This year (2024) Wild Heart Books will release three of Susan's Christian Historical Romances, part of her Great Wagon Road series--Love's Winding Road, March 12; Trail of Promises, June 25; and Trail to Love, September 17. An admitted history nerd, she enjoys painting, singing, listening to music, and sitting on her porch with her doxipoo, Steeler, who watches uninterested as geese eat her daylillies. She most recently took up the ukulele.
