Sydney Reneé is a native of the Bay Area, a mother of one, and a distinguished San Jose State University graduate with a degree in Journalism and Child and Adolescent Development. While attending college, she wrote for the university’s newspaper and interned for a magazine, writing lifestyle blogs. Her professional background encompasses both the film and television industry and the realm of Generative AI, in which she helps develop and improve chat/voice bots for telecommunication companies.
Sydney discovered her passion for writing at seventeen, a passion that has continuously intensified. Her narratives explore the intricate tapestry of Black womanhood, examining the joys and challenges inherent in love, heartbreak, friendship, career aspirations, and the daily triumphs and tribulations that influence our lives. Sydney Reneé’s writing endeavors to inspire women to wholeheartedly embrace their journeys, serving as a reminder that it is never too late to pursue their dreams and to authentically express their true selves.
She enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching K-dramas, concerts, and going to Napa/St. Helena for wine and good fun.
