Sylvie di Giusto is an international keynote speaker with 20 years of experience in learning and development, having developed innovative programs for high-end education with never-before-used training methods. Formerly the head of a management academy and innovation hub, Sylvie also served as the Chief of Staff for the Chief Human Resources Officer of Europe’s largest tourism and retail group, where she coordinated all group-wide human resources teams and activities. Prior to that, at a consultancy firm, she implemented online and in-person training and development initiatives for Fortune 100 companies. Sylvie's extensive study of social and cultural norms, personal beliefs and values, as well as cognitive biases and thought patterns, provides her with a deep understanding of how ‘The Power of Choice’ impacts an organization’s sales, leadership, and growth. Now, Sylvie is trusted by extraordinary leaders and professionals at many of the most respected organizations and associations in the world, including American Express, American Airlines, Hilton, Nespresso, Microsoft, Prudential, and the US Air Force, to help them make the right decisions that grow their brands and bottom lines. Building on her five cornerstones of Modern Emotional Intelligence—visual, behavioral, verbal, digital, and social intelligence—Sylvie gives her audiences ‘The Power of Choice,’ a conscious decision-making framework that allows individuals to understand their perceptions, choose their behaviors, and determine their best outcomes. As an author of three books, including The Image of Leadership, Discover Your Fair Advantage, and the upcoming Make Me Feel Important, Sylvie takes her audiences on an entertaining, spectacular, and thought-provoking journey through the brain, the mind, and from the unconscious to the conscious, leading to personal, professional, and organizational success. Sylvie's signature Power of Choice framework creates the optimal physical, mental, and emotional conditions for right decision-making, helping successful companies, associations, and government agencies grow their brands and bottom lines and expand their initiatives. Her singular take on modern emotional intelligence turns the woefully abstract into the wonderfully actionable, providing individuals with everything they need to be served, rather than swayed, by their emotions. Sylvie is one of fewer than 12 percent of speakers worldwide who has received the Certified Speaking Professional designation. She is also an avid boater and the mother of two teenagers who test her commitment to emotional intelligence every day. She is Austrian by birth, German in her work ethic, French in her heart, Italian in her kitchen, and American by choice.
