I served twenty-two years, two months, and twelve days in the U.S. Army as a calvary scout. I live near Fort Benning, Georgia, with my lovely wife, Tia. The Why of War: An Unorthodox Soldier's Memoirs is my first publication. The story was written for two projects while attending the University of Denver's creative writing program. I enjoy travelling, gardening and laughing with friends and family. I absolutely love how it feels when my pen caresses a page and leaves an indelible mark on hearts and minds.
