Tami has a degree in International Commerce (BA), a MBA in International Management (majoring in trade and marketing) and has lived and worked in both the United States and Australia. She is a journalist for the Huffington Post Australia, the largest on-line news platform in the world. In early 2000 Tami was selected to introduce the practice of meditation to help students navigate and become more resilient to life stresses. Tami has spoken at the inaugural Mindful Leadership Global Forum in Sydney attended by more than 300 CEO’s and corporate leaders. And, has served as featured speaker at the Mindful Women event leading meditation for hundreds. Additional speaking engagements have ranged from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia – to Randwick College – and to leading 350 in a guided meditation for the Wake Up Project. She was a featured speaker on wellness at TAFE NSW‘s International Woman’s Day; as well as, Smiling Minds Building Healthy Minds. Tami was part of a panel of experts for the Australia India Institute on Meditation: India’s Gift to the West and had the honour of opening the Maitreya Relic Tour, endorsed by the Dalai Lama, in Melbourne, Australia in 2015. Tami’s philanthropic efforts include the American Women’s Auxiliary in Melbourne, which helps raise funds for the Children’s Hospital, and Ambassadorship for the Breast Cancer Network Australia and the Field of Women Live in Sydney and in Melbourne.
