Terelle Coley was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina to an African American mother and father who were both advocates for reading and pursuing an education. Terelle spent an inordinate amount of his youth reading fiction novels that were above his grade level and being a pest to his younger sister. Before he started writing children books, Terelle obtained an Bachelor’s degree in Art and a Master’s degree in Information Technology. He now lives on the East Coast with his beautiful and loving wife. In his spare time, Terelle loves reading, drawing, and gardening. He also has a beloved niece and nephew that he enjoys spending time with immensely.
