Rarely will you encounter Tiffany Bethmann without her string of pearls and signature red lip. Born and raised in the hills of eastern Tennessee, she is a lifelong southerner whose roots have secured in her a never-meet-a-stranger attitude.
But her encouraging spirit has been fostered only through a series of immense challenges and high-stakes choices.
When Tiffany was sixteen years old, her life took a dramatic turn. As a high school cheerleader and daughter of faithful Christian parents, no one expected Tiffany to be staring at a positive test. Least of all her. But as she pressed her tear-stained cheek to the cold, smelly, grimy floor of her high school bathroom, she made a vow to use this moment of unraveling to bring herself and others to Jesus. With this decision—and the support of her family—Tiffany turned what seemed to be a shattering of her dreams and potential into an opportunity for God’s dreams and unmatched grace to sprout forth.
She’s been doing the same ever since.
When that bathroom-floor-baby was just six months old, Tiffany met her husband, Cort. Their summer friendship blossomed into a romance and marriage (even if people thought they were crazy). After three kids, two major moves, extended family breakdown, financial crisis, and complicated career changes, they continue to happily choose one another at single turn of this wild ride of life.
Tiffany spent nearly a decade working in the corporate world in the marketing, training, and sales industry. Eventually, she transplanted the skills she learned and fostered into the world of real estate. Tiffany grew the $200 in her business banking account into a multi-million dollar volume business. She loved giving back to others, even building a home for a single mother and her two children in Mexico. Tiffany was featured in Top Producer magazine and began to enjoy the finer fruits of her labor.
While her story could have neatly ended there, with God having brought great financial and familial success out of her desperate adolescent resolve on a dirty bathroom floor, He wasn’t finished with her yet. In the midst of a luxurious family vacation, Tiffany felt a stirring in her heart for something more. Over the next several months, the Lord deepened this call. So she made the decision to walk away from job security, once again, and plant herself in the garden of writing and speaking.
Today, Tiffany inspires others to embrace their own unraveling experiences by clinging tightly to God, shifting their perspectives, and trusting that He is making a way in the wilderness.
