His father's side is Scandanavian and his mother is Dutch-Caribbean, born in Aruba. Through this international lense, Timo became an accomplished traveler and kindled a love for the outdoors at an early age. He writes mainly about hiking, scrambling, outdoor adventures, travels, ski instructing, and trail building.
