My journey into paranormal romance emerged from dark and gritty beginnings. Writing became my refuge at the age of eight, offering an escape from a painful environment shaped by abuse and neglect in all its forms. Books were my haven; I found real happiness only when I was lost in a world of scary or adventurous stories. Throughout middle and high school, I devoured every immersive book I could find and, almost accidentally, uncovered not only the freedom to create my own dark and dazzling worlds but also a profound need to do so.
Since publishing my first series, I've connected with readers who are as strong, smart, bold, and funny as the characters they love. They are fiercely individualistic and unapologetically authentic. Much like the journey and stories that reared me, diverse and vocal romance readers will always be one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I write to celebrate that sense of self and to help keep the spirit of adventure, identity, and community alive. For me, finding the courage to publish wasn’t just about telling stories I love—it was a way to give back to a world that taught me the joy of living authentically, unapologetically, and fearlessly when I had nowhere else to turn.
