I'm a copywriter and author based in the UK.
In my 15 years as a freelance copywriter, I’ve written about everything from cupcakes and cameras to spectacles and solar panels, working for everyone from top brands to small businesses and marketing agencies. I also do a lot of copy-editing for leading business academics around the world.
In a 2015 survey by the UK’s Direct Marketing Association (DMA), I was delighted to be ranked the #7 ‘Copywriter rated by copywriters’.
A few years ago, I co-founded ProCopywriters, the UK alliance of commercial writers. I’m no longer on the team, but the organization goes from strength to strength.
I've written two books on writing (Copywriting Made Simple and How to Write Clearly), two on freelancing (The Freelance Introvert and Cash Money Freelancing) and one on solitude (One for Joy).
