Toni Hawkins, born Tonimaria Anne Hawkins was born in Washington DC but was raised in Montgomery County where she attended Northwood High School.
At age 12, Hawkins developed a love interest in writing poetry which later on became fictional short stories she would tell in her class.
Hawkins is an award winning author and an international bestseller of The Gifted Series.
She’s a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda sorority.
Hawkins is currently working on the 5th book to the Gifted Series which will be coming out Halloween 2025 and other projects outside of the Gifted Series
