Valerie resides in sunny South Florida with her pilot husband and three children. Having grown up abroad and been exposed to other cultures and languages from an early age, Valerie developed a love for languages and has studied German, French, Spanish, and Hebrew. She brings a fresh perspective to the fantasy genre, drawing from her varied experiences as a private jet flight attendant, artist, intensive care nurse, and more odd jobs than she’d care to admit.
