After a short, yet compelling career, working for an internationally well-known Christian outreach and charity organization in various parts of the world, Victoria Otto gave up her career for her family and to dedicate her life, to enriching people's lives by exposing them to Christ's love through writing. While doing charity and missionary work mainly in Africa, in countries such as Eritrea, Chad, the Democratic Republic of The Congo, and the Central African Republic, Victoria passed the time reading mail order bride books, some good, and others, well... not so good.
