Vince Scarsella has twelve (12) novels to his credit, including Amazon bestselling crime/suspense novels, "The Anonymous Man," its sequel, "Still Anonymous," and the third and final novel in the series, "The Notorious Man." His other crime series, The Lawyers Gone Bad Series, includes "Lawyers Gone Bad," "Personal Injuries," "Winning Is Everything," and "Pardon Me." Each of the novels in the Lawyers Gone Bad and The Anonymous Man series has garnered high marks from readers and The Buffalo News. Indeed, Lawyers Gone Bad is in development to become a TV drama series. In addition to these crime/thriller series, Scarsella has several stand-along novels. His recently released 11th novel, "InHumane," is an alien invasion adventure story like none other with plenty of action and thrills and a surprising twist about our own humanity. "The Messiah," tells the story of a modern Jesus-like preacher whose rising popularity threatens the ruling elite known as The Supremacy. Finally, "Mind Plague," is his dystopian thriller about surviving in a world after most everyone has lost their ability to think and remember. Scarsella has also had published two books in the Youth Adult Psi Wars Series, "Escape From The Psi Academy," (Book 1) and "Return To The Psi Academy" (Book 2). Book 3, "The World At Psi War," is forthcoming. In addition, in December, 2017, Scarsella's fantasy novella, "Within A Dream," for readers of all ages, was published. Lastly, Scarsella has published three collections of his shorter works, including a crime/mystery/noir collection, "Unusual Suspects," released in March 2018 and the science/speculative fiction collections, "Time Travelers" and released in April 2022 and "Spectacular Fictions," released in March 2021. Scarsella also publishes serialized stories, one episode at a time, on Amazon's Kindle Vella platform. Among this many Vella stories, Scarsella's exciting ongoing series, "The Historinaut," follows the time trips of Professor Thomas Arbor as he uses the psychic skill of temporal remote viewing to observe what really happened in past historical events. The first 3 episodes of all Kindle Vella serializations are FREE! After that, readers are asked to pay a modest fee for tokens used to purchase new episodes. The average length of Scarsella's Kindle Vellas episodes are around 800 words. Scarsella has also seen his plays performed at colleges and community theatres. Among this staged plays are “Hate Crime,” “Practical Time Travel,” “The Penitent,” "The Cards of Unknown Players," “The Walrus Was Paul – A Beatles Sing-Along,” and "Land of the Greedy Mouse." His play, "Hate Crime" was selected for the Tampa Bar Theatre Festival 2022 and will be performed on Saturday, September 3rd at the Mainstage Theatre of Hillsborough Community College in Tampa. Scarsella also has published numerous short stories in print magazines such as Mystery Tribune, The Leading Edge, Aethlon: The Journal of Sport Literature, and Fictitious Force, short story anthologies, and in several online zines. His short story, "The Cards of Unknown Players," was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. His non-fiction work, "The Human Manifesto: A General Plan For Human Survival," was favorably reviewed by the Ernest Becker Foundation. Since 2012, Vince has been an adjunct professor at Polk State College teaching business law courses. He and Rosanne have three children and six grandchildren.
