Wright Smith was born & raised in Wilson, North Carolina, graduated from Wake Forest University, and now resides with his wife, Gail, in Belville, just outside of Wilmington, NC. He has been self-employed since graduation owning a variety of successful businesses. In addition to writing the Christmoose book series, Mr. Smith is an award winning artisan specializing in creating tables, lamps, pendant chandeliers, and other accessories made from historic riverwood from the Cape Fear and Brunswick Rivers.
